Dave Hillman joined our team in the Autumn of 2010, and leads the London office of Talent Resource Solutions, a global mid-management search firm focused on delivering a consistent platform of talent solutions for their clients.
From 1998 until joining Talent Resource Solutions, Dave was the Owner and Managing Director of Blackstar Search, which provided innovative management- and executive-level recruiting services throughout the UK and worldwide, focusing on customized solutions designed to achieve his clients’ specific business needs. His direction of Blackstar Search and its focus on ensuring clients’ needs are met through quality and consistency of results was a natural fit for Talent Resource Solutions. Dave and his team have developed a reputation for finding top-class employees who will make a difference to their client’s business by working with their clients as part of a team, committed to finding and hiring the right people.
Dave is extremely familiar with the challenges his clients face and understands what it takes to be successful. Prior to working in recruitment, Dave gained several years experience heading senior Sales and marketing management teams within International Distillers and Vintners, now part of Diageo PLC. Previous to this he was Buying and Merchandising Controller with Woolworths. He also helped launch a new store concept with the Kingfisher Group, and headed a team of Buyers and Merchandisers at BHS.
